Working Principle of Rotary Kiln:
The material will be calcinated in the cylinder after enter the kiln from tail, and then will be turned over along the direction of circle and make a combined motion from the high-end to low-end along the axial because of the cylinder's slope and low speed rotation. Then the material will be calcinated into the clinker after discomposition, calcination and cooling technical process. So they will discharge from the low-end and move into the cooler.  The fuel will be sprayed from the kiln head and start burning. The heat will be used to heat the materials and calcinated the material into the clinker. The hot-air formed during heat exchange  process will be blown into the kiln tail system from the feed end and released into the atmosphere.
