Description of  Bucket elevator:
Bucket elevator is used for vertical lifting crushed limestone, coal, gypsum, clinker, clay and other dry granular materials and raw materials, cement, coal powder and other powder materials. According to the running speed of the bucket, the bucket elevator can be divided into three types: centrifugal discharge, gravity discharge and hybrid discharge. Bucket speed of centrifugal discharge is fast, so it is suitable for conveying powder, granular and small block low hardness materials. Gravity discharge with slow bucket speed is suitable for chunk material, dense and high hardness materials, such as limestone, clinker, etc. There are several types of traction components for bucket elevator, such as ring chain, plate chain and tape. Structure and manufacturing of the ring chain is relatively simple.

   Bucket elevator with large throughput, great enhancing -height, stable and reliable operation, long life and other significant advantages. Hybrid-type or gravity discharge, earth-type loading. Applicable to transport packing density of less than 1.5t/m3, easy to take out the powder, granular, small block of low-mill cut materials, such as coal, cement, gravel, sand, fertilizer, food and so on.    Working Principle of vertical bucket elevators:
   
   Vertical bucket elevator machine are designed to move flowing powders or bulk solids vertically. vertical bucket elevator machine use an endless belt or chain and have a series of buckets attached to it. Bulk material is spread into an inlet hopper. Buckets (or cups) dig into the material and convey it up and over the head sprocket/pulley, and then throw the material out a discharge throat.
   Vertical bucket elevators are not self-feeding, and are fed at a controlled rate. The buckets are usually where the chain or belt path is vertical or steeply inclined in a single plane. The buckets are returned back down to a tail pulley or sprocket at the bottom. There are four broad classifications of vertical bucket elevator machine: centrifugal, continuous, positive, and internal discharge. The most commonly used are the centrifugal and continuous discharge elevators. 

Application of bucket elevator:

Bucket elevator conveyor used for lifting powder, granular materials  and small block and grinding of small materials, such as: coal, cement, stones, sand, clay, ore and so on.  or other industries of dry mortar for construction, chemistry and foodstuff.
