Introduction of Air Swept Coal Mill
Air swept coal mill is used for coal grinding. When used as fuel for industrial furnace and rotary kiln, more than 85% pulverized coal is required to pass through 200 mesh sieve and its moisture content is less than 2%. Air swept mill is most ideal processing equipment for grinding and drying at the same time.
Air swept coal mill is mainly composed of feeding device, principal axis, rotating part, transmission part, discharging part, high-pressure drive device and lubrication system. It is widely used in cement, building material, thermal power generation, metallurgy and chemical industry. It has reasonable structure and high powder grinding efficiency, so that it is the ideal equipment for making coal powders.
Features of Air Swept Coal Mill
Air swept coal mill has optimized support system and improved lubrication structure, which reduces the resistance of the system. Grinding balls and the length of the cylinder are properly arranged so capacity can be increased 15% to 25 %. Its electricity consumption can be saved 20 % to 30%. Air swept coal mill uses a new type of lining that increases wear resistance and prolong the use life. Its reducer is capable of continuous high-load work. It is controlled by advance system that ensures smooth start and drive.
Working Principle of Air Swept Coal Mill
The raw coal is fed into the grinding mill by feeding device. At the same time, hot air from the hot-blast stove also flows from the inlet into the mill. Raw coal is ground and dried in the mill. Then the ground coal powder is brought by air flow into powder separator for processing. Pulverized coal particles will be transported by conveyor back to the mill for further grinding. Separated fine powders will flow along with air and will be collected into coal powder hopper.
