Introduction of rotary kiln:Rotary kiln is the key equipment in cement industry for calcinating clinker. It is also used in varies industries, such as metallurgy, Chemical, building, rehractory material, environmental production, etc. The kiln is composed of the cylindrical shell, roller supporting device with thrust roller, driving gear unit movable kiln hood, sealing device at kiln inlet, coal dust pipe device etc.
With a certain slope to the level, the whole kiln body is supporting rollers and fitted with thrust rollers to contral up and down movement of the kiln body. Besides main driving unit for driving system, if is also fitted with auxiliary driving unit so as to ensure the kiln could be kiln head sealing adopts housing type sealing and kiln rear uses axial contact sealing unit so that reliability of sealing be ebsures.



Different types of rotary kilns:
1. A cement rotary kiln is primarily used for calcining cement clinker. It can be divided into dry process rotary kilns and wet process rotary kilns.
2. A metallurgy chemical rotary kiln is mainly used for magnetized roasting of lean iron ore, and oxidizing roasting of chrome ore and nickel ore, etc. In refractory plants, this rotary kiln is mainly used for roasting different high-alumina refractories. In aluminium factories, it is mainly used for roasting clinker and aluminum hydroxide. When used in chemical industry, it is mainly used for roasting chrome ores, and chrome powders, etc.
3. Lime rotary kiln is applied to roast active lime and dolomite which are commonly used in steel factories and ferroalloy factories.
