The introduction of magnetic separator
Magnetic separator is used for separating materials with different magnetic properties. It is widely used in mining, lumbering, ceramic, chemistry, food and other industries, suitable for wet or dry magnetic separation of materials with particle size below 3mm, such as magnetite pyrrhotite, roasting ore, and ilmenite, but also for deironing of coal, non-metallic minerals, building materials and other materials.
Working Principle of Magnetic Separator
After ore pulp flows into the trough via feeding box, under the function of water flow, ore particles go into the trough's feeding zone in loose state. Under the influence of the magnetic field, magnetic ore particles will flocculate into magnetic group or magnetic chain. Influenced by magnetic force in the pulp, magnetic group or magnetic chain move toward the magnetic pole forced and thus adsorbed by cylinder. Because magnetic pole's polarity is arranged alternately along the rotation direction of the cylinder and stays stationary during work, Gangue mineral and other non magnetic ores will fall off from the magnetic group or chain due to the magnetic mixing phenomenon caused by magnetic pole exchange when magnetic group or magnetic chain rotates along with the cylinder. Magnetic group or magnetic chain that is absorbed on cylinder surface is ore concentrate. Ore concentrate rotates along with cylinder to the magnetic edge with the weakest magnetic force and discharged in concentrate slot under action of the flush water. If the all magnetic roller is used, discharging will be carried out by brush roller. Non-magnetic or weak magnetic minerals will be left in the ore pulp and discharged from trough, which are called tailings.

Semi-counter-current wet permanent magnetic drum separator
Range of application: mainly used for cleaning, and especially suitable for the minerals with particle size less than 0.15mm.
Counter-current wet permanent magnetic drum separator
Range of application: with high recovery rate, suitable for roughing, scavenging and heavy medium recovery.
Fair-current wet permanent magnetic drum separator
Range of application: apply to coarse particles or ores with low magnetic susceptibility, suitable for roughing and cleaning.
The surface of the drum can be covered with rubber which is famous for its super wear resistance
