Rotary Cooler (Monocular Cooler) is a equipment that can cooling material via the cylinder rotating to drive material processing fully heat exchange with cool air, which have series advantages like good cooling performance, bigger capacity, high operating ratio, energy saving with environmental protection, easy operation and maintenance and long life time. The cooler can be widely used for industry fields like Cement, Quick-Lime, Ceramic Proppants and Magnesium etc.
Processing Materials: fertilizer,mineral ores, ore powder,coal ash, coal slime, coir pith, coconut fiber, coir fiber, coconut shell,etc.
Rotary Cooler for Cement Wide Usage:
Rotary Cooler is suitable for cooling hot materials and getting the air absorbing lots of heat from the hot materials at the same time to make the combustion air getting to hot, for strengthening calcining and decreasing heat consumption, it's an important corollary equipment of rotary kiln. Cooling machine is the main associated equipment for rotary kiln production system. Its structure is simple but the performance is good and operating is reliable. The waste gas after heat exchange will import to rotary kiln again so as to improve the thermal efficiency of the whole system.
The advantages of Rotary Drum Cooler:
1). Rotay cooler can be heated direct or indirect; The heating efficiency can be up to 95%
2). Rotary cooler operating under high temperature and low oxygen to avoid materials being self burning or exploding when drying. Big drying capacity, highly industrialization and low cost
3). Low amount of air required to save tail gas handling cost
Rotary Cooler is a kind of quench cooler. Its principle is to quench clinker which is laid in levels on the grate plates with cold wind from air blower. Temperature of clinker will be rapidly dropped from 1200° C to be less than 100° C. Plenty of waste gases after cooling could not only be used as secondary air in the kiln, but also be heat source for drying coal in the coal mill.
Working principle:
Rotary Cooler (lime cooler, cement cooler, magnesium cooler) work principle: Cooler is widely used in building material, chemical industry, metallurgy, and other industry, matching with rotary kiln. The equipment in the natural state, low speed revolving in a slope of 3.5%, the material feeding from the top of cylinder, scatter plate is scatting the material to make it discharging from the bottom side of cooler.
