Production Process Description
1.Raw material feeding
Limestone in the plant yard will be carried by tractor shovel and fed to hopper, it will be discharged from hopper to vibrating feeder and sent to vibrating screen for screening through belt conveyor. The size ≥20mm will be sent to pre-heater by conveyor. And size less than 20mm will be carried away.
2.Calcination
Limestone in the pre-heater will be preheated by the hot air, then it will be discharged to rotary kiln through the chute that connects pre-heater and kiln, it will stay in the kiln for 1.5-2 hours for calcination, during the process, it will be calcinated with temperature around 1300 °C, after which comes limestone decomposition, release of CO2, then the formation of quick lime will be completed. And lime will be moved to vertical cooler for cooling.
3.Lime conveying
Lime will be discharged to a chain conveyor by vibrating feeders at the bottom of vertical cooler, it will be lifted to storage hopper by bucket elevator. lime in the storage hopper can be used for dispatch or transported to hydration workshop.
4.Dust filtering
There are two dust filtering systems, one is in the kiln inlet, dust will be filtered by bag filter then the clean gas will be released to air. The other is dust from lime storage hopper and feeding part of bucket elevator, dust will be filtered by bag filter then released to air.
Advantages of our Process:
The successful application of environmental friendly& energy saving lime kiln with vertical preheater and cooler breaks the traditional lime production pattern. Significant reduction of fuel consumption leads to reduction of exhaust emission, which coupled with the application of pulse bag filter for exhaust purification, not only greatly lowers the energy consumption and production cost, but also standardizes the exhaust emission in the calcination process and contributes a lot to the basic improvement of the environmental condition.

6. Making full use of industrial waste gas (such as blast furnace exhaust gas, acetylene tail gas, charcoal blue gas, etc.) as the fuel for lime calcination.
7. Kiln head cover is integrated with the vertical cooler as a whole, through which the construction area is saved, sealing performance is improved, unsystematic gas emission is effectively avoided.
8. The use of pulse bag filter makes it more environmental, emission concentration is 50mg/Nm3, far below the national standard 100mg/Nm3.
